MEASURING SUCCESS

Learning through V.I.N.E.S.

Throughout our courses, we use V.I.N.E.S. to measure learning

Verification of attendance to guarantee participation
Interactive learning which stops when the participant stops
Notes and Multiple-Choice questions to demonstrate comprehension
Essays to recall and summarize topics
Surveys to measure impact and effectiveness of the information taught

How do you know the participants are learning?

In the beginning, we evaluate participants with a pre-test to gauge their knowledge on a subject. Then we compare this grade to final exam scores to determine improvement through knowledge gained.

How do you know the courses make an impact?

Through short essay answers and post-test evaluations we are able to peer into the minds of participants. We very often see a gradual softening and remorse throughout the course. Surveys reveal hopeful goals and reasons to change bad behavior.
